CALDWELL, Idaho (FOX 35 WOFL) - Photos of a group of teenage boys in Caldwell, Idaho helping an elderly man who fell down and then walked him home have gone viral on Facebook.
According to Yahoo! Lifestyle, Victor Ornelas, Isaac Hernandez, Diego Ramirez, Devan Ornelas and Josh Sorg were on their way to play a game of basketball when they drove past an elderly man who had fallen down on the sidewalk with his walker.
The boys pulled over and immediately ran over to check on the gentleman. When they found out he was alright, instead of taking off, they walked with the man back to his house and tended to his knee, which was bleeding.
The photos of the touching moment were captured by Erika Tovar as she was driving by.
"Shout out to these young boys for helping an elderly man off the ground after he fell and walking him home.If any of you have elderly family check on them make sure they are okay!" Tovar said on Facebook.
The photos eventually made their way to the owners of The Sweet Spot Bakery, who reposted the pictures to try and find out who the boys were so they could treat them to a special reward.
The boys were tracked down by the elderly man's daughter and The Sweet Spot Bakery invited them to the store for personalized cupcakes and cookies to thank them for their kindness.
