Police: Student hit teacher at Johnson High School in St. Paul
ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - St. Paul police say a 16-year-old student hit a teacher at Johnson High School earlier this month while trying to break up a fight.
The report is the latest in a string of cases of St. Paul teachers reportedly being hit by students. This is the district's third teacher-student incident in four months.

The incident happened when a teacher attempted to stop a fight between two female students. That is when another student, a 16-year-old male, allegedly hit him in the back of the head.
The student has denied hitting the teacher.
No injuries to the teacher were specified in the police report, and no charges have been filed.
Statement from St. Paul Public Schools
On March 4, 2016 teachers intervened in an altercation between two students at Johnson Senior High School. One of the intervening teachers filed a report with the Saint Paul Police Department on Friday, March 11 . A police investigation is underway.
