Pedestrian killed in Hubbard Co. on Sunday

HUBBARD CO., Minn. (KMSP) - A person has died after being struck by a car in Laporte, Minnesota, Sunday morning.
Shortly after midnight, the Hubbard County sheriff’s office responded to a call on Highway 200 where a car struck a pedestrian, 45-year-old Luke Prescott of Princeton, Minnesota, after he walked away from another car on the left shoulder, according to the press release.
The car on the shoulder had “gone off the road into the medianside prior to the pedestrian walking up to the shoulder from the vehicle.”
