I-694 expected to re-open by Saturday
OAKDALE, Minn. (KMSP) - A section of I-694 closed by a washout earlier this week is expected to re-open to traffic by Saturday morning, according to MnDOT officials.
A water main underneath the highway in Oakdale broke on Sunday morning. Since then I-694 has been closed at 15th Street North where an estimated 87,000 vehicles travel each day.
The final repairs are expected to be completed late Friday or early Saturday.
