61-year-old man arrested after throwing coffee on another man in Salvation Army line

A 61-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault after throwing scalding hot coffee on another man at the St. Paul Salvation Army.

It happened on Wednesday. Police say the man went in front of a pregnant woman who was in line, that’s when the woman’s husband stepped in and the 61-year-old man threw his coffee on him during an argument. The husband was taken to the hospital with severe blistering on his upper body from the coffee. No one else was hurt.
