Safe Families for Children provides alternative to foster care

(KMSP) - When a crisis strikes, many of us rely on relatives or friends for support. But for some parents, that's just not an option. 

To help families in need during those difficult times, a local nonprofit is providing parents with a temporary, loving home for their children without them going into the foster care system.
 
The program is called Safe Families for Children.
