WATCH: Goldy Gopher takes out youth football player during mascot game

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Don't mess with Goldy Gopher. 

That's the lesson everyone learned after watching the mascots vs. youth football players game at halftime during the Minnesota Vikings game at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday. The University of Minnesota mascot showed no mercy when he shoved down a youth football player while going in for the score. 

In response to the videos of the play that went viral after the game, Goldy Gopher tweeted, "Put me in @coach_fleck! I think I still have some eligibility left! #RTB."
