Video: Little girl interrupts homecoming ceremony to hug military father

A 2-year-old girl in Colorado hadn't seen her father in eight months, and she wasn't going to wait a moment longer.  While 300 soldiers stood in formation for a homecoming ceremony at Fort Carson on Tuesday, Cara Oglesby ran out of the crowd and across the floor to hug her dad.

Despite the formality of the ceremony, he reached down to sweetly hug her back and give her a kiss.

“Cara, she made eye contact with me in the crowd and decided she wanted to say hello a little early so she ran up and gave me a big hug and I just returned the hug back to her,” Lt. Daniel Oglesby told FOX 21 News.

The moment captured on video is already taking over the Internet. Watch it below.
