Sunday storm update: Wind to be biggest threat

Storms look likely to develop in the Twin Cities, southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin after 3 p.m. on Sunday, and they could continue through the evening. Wind looks to be the biggest threat along with some hail as well.

There is a low risk for tornadoes, especially if it is able to heat up a little more into the 70s.

We may end up with a watch in the late afternoon sometime if development starts to take shape as expected, with warnings not long after that. The storms will be fast moving with lots of wind aloft.
