Reward offered for information on arson fire at St. Cloud apartment building

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KMSP) - The St. Cloud Police Department is investigating a fire that was intentionally started in the hallway of an apartment building near St. Cloud State University Monday.
The fire was started in the exit hallway of a building on the 1000 block of 6th Avenue South. Police say a strong smell of gasoline lingered in the building.
The fire caused an estimated $4,000 in damage.
Investigators have determined the fire was arson.
Police are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-723-2020.
