Possible sex assault reported outside TCF Bank Stadium
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minneapolis police are investigating a possible sexual assault that happened while the victim left the University of Minnesota's Homecoming concert at TCF Bank Stadium, according to a timely warning sent out to the campus community.
The victim told police the incident happened around 10:10 p.m. Friday night on University Ave SE near Oak Street SE. Three male suspects came up to victim and started to verbally harass the victim. The incident escalated and ended in the victim being physically and sexually harassed by the group.
The victim received treatment at a hospital.
The suspects are described as three white men aged around 18 to 24 years old. Two of the males have brown hair and one is blonde. At least one of the suspects was wearing U of M clothing at the time.
