A possible tip has emerged in the disappearance of 11-year-old Mikelle Biggs, who was last seen waiting for an ice cream truck in a Mesa neighborhood in 1999.

A dollar bill with a note written on it claiming that Biggs is still alive was found in Wisconsin and now Mesa police are investigating it as a possible tip. The name "Mikelle", however, was spelled "Mikel" on the dollar bill.

Mikelle, if still alive, would be a 30-year-old woman this year.

It's a story that is hard to forget.

"When I came back outside, the bike was in the road. The tire was still spinning, and she was gone. There was no clues or trace of her anywhere," said Kimber Biggs, Mikelle's sister, back in 2016.

At the Mesa Police Department, that small pink bicycle that belonged to Mikelle is still held in evidence, and Mikelle's case remains Arizona's greatest unsolved mysteries.
