Firefighters in Maplewood, Minnesota got a little frosty while battling a fire in subzero temperatures.

Maplewood Fire Department tweeted out photos of a crew putting out a vehicle fire last week during the polar vortex. Photos show the water quickly turned to ice, which clung to one firefighter's mask and gear.

But just like Elsa from Disney's Frozen, the cold never bothered them anyway.

"MFD's A-Shift isn't intimidated by this cold weather," read the tweet. "They were literally iced up after fighting this car fire."

Residents can also help firefighters by shoveling out fire hydrants and driveways.
