John Randle restaurant to replace Ling & Louie's in downtown Minneapolis

(KMSP) - Ling & Louie's on Nicollet Mall is getting a makeover. The restaurant will close at the end of the year and will open back up as "Randle's Restaurant and Bar." Randle's is named after Vikings legend, John Randle.

Minneapolis-St. Paul business journal reporter, Nick Halter talked with restaurateur, Michael McDermott, and he says "he [John Randle] has a great history and is a family guy." Randle's will keep some of the Ling & Louie's sushi and wok dishes, but will add sandwiches, steaks and more entrees.

The restaurant will open sometime in February.
