Hwy. 68 near New Ulm still closed due to mudslide

A mudslide closed Hwy. 68 after a deluge of rain Monday. (MnDOT)

After downpours across southern Minnesota Monday, a mudslide closed Hwy. 68 between New Ulm and Mankato.

Tuesday, crews continued to clean the road from the mudslide.

Hwy. 68 is still closed Tuesday between New Ulm and Blue Earth County Road 24.

MnDOT suggests Hwy. 14 as an alternate route.
