'Hello' parody wants people from Minneapolis to visit St. Paul

Visit St. Paul created a music video parody of Adele's hit song, titled "Hello, Minneapolis! Love St. Paul."

“Hello, it’s me. The older twin of Minneapolis, a place you’ve got to see.”

Those are the opening lyrics of a music video titled “Hello, Minneapolis! Love, St. Paul,” parodying Adele’s hit song, “Hello," ahead of her two-night tour stop at Xcel Energy Center next week.

The video, which highlights some of the top spots in St. Paul, is the brainchild of the city’s convention and visitors bureau, Visit St. Paul. According to the video description, the city wants to reconnect with its neighbor to the east and is excited to welcome the Minneapolis residents that will inevitably cross the border for the upcoming concert.

The description for the video reads, “We know you can travel the seven miles and we just wanted to say hello from the other side and let you know we can’t wait to have you visit!”
