Fennec fox stops by Fox 9 to celebrate Minnesota Zoo's 40th birthday

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (KMSP) - Cleo, the Fennec fox at the Minnesota Zoo, stopped by Fox 9 Wednesday to celebrate the zoo's 40th birthday this weekend.

The Fennec fox is a small nocturnal fox found in the Sahara of North Africa, the Sinai Peninsula, South West Israel and the Arabian desert. Its most distinctive feature is its unusually large ears, which help them deal with the heat.

The 40th Birthday party May 19-20 at the Minnesota Zoo will feature ice cream treats, a Crayola activity on Tropics Plaza, music and more.
