In the game of Twister, all you need is a mat, a spinner and some willing bodies. On Tuesday night in St. Paul, they’re embracing those requirements—only the mat is getting bigger…and a little grassier.

The world’s largest game of Twister is being played at CHS Field after the 7:05 p.m. St. Paul Saints game. The field has already been painted over with 70,896 red, blue, green and yellow circles, which will each be seven inches in diameter, the exact size they appear on the game board.

Following the 7:05 p.m. contest against the Wichita Wingnuts, which will be played on the Twister board, all fans in attendance and Saints players will come down onto the field to partake in a game of Twister.

The largest ever Twister board stretches from foul line to foul line on the outfield grass, beginning at the end of the dirt of the infield and going all the way to the warming track, and is a total of 76,475 square feet.
