Denny Hecker transferred to Duluth Federal Prison Camp

Former Minnesota auto mogul Denny Hecker has been transferred from a prison in Illinois to the Duluth Federal Prison Camp, according to an official from the Bureau of Prison.

Hecker had been in prison since October 2011 for bankruptcy fraud and wire fraud. He was sentenced to 10 years, but that sentence was later reduced.

Hecker's attorney, Barbara May, told Fox 9 earlier this month that Hecker would be transferred to a halfway house in Minneapolis, but that has not happened yet.
