Less than a week after he was suspended for three games, the Minnesota Vikings announced they waived running back Roc Thomas.

Thomas was suspended after he pleaded guilty to a fifth-degree marijuana charge.

According to the Vikings, the team also added offensive lineman Tiano Pupungatoa, keeping the Vikings roster at the offseason limit of 90 total players.

Pupungatoa, who was with the Vikings during rookie minicamp on a tryout basis in May, primarily played guard at South Dakota State.
