(KMSP) - Police say 20 cars were damaged over Memorial Day weekend in and near the Logan Park neighborhood in northeast Minneapolis.
Between May 27 and 28, more than a dozen drivers reported some of their windows were smashed out. Police believe some of the incidents involved a BB gun or pellet gun.
"At this point we do not know for sure that all of the damage caused to the vehicles was from a pellet gun, but it is likely a common factor," Minneapolis Police Department spokesperson John Elder said.
Crime prevention specialists sent a Crime Advisory to all northeast Minneapolis residents explaining the incidents, urging people to call 911 or Crime Stoppers if they have any information.
