MPD Chief asks MPD union president to not wear uniform in interviews

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minneapolis Police Chief has asked the president of the Minneapolis Police union to not wear his police uniform when speaking on behalf of the union.
Minneapolis Police Department released a statement on Monday:
“Chief has had communications with Bob Kroll. The content of that is private personal data.”
This comes in the wake of a controversy when four off-duty Minneapolis police officers walked off the job of a Lynx game because of the pregame shirts the players were wearing.
