Man dies in motorcycle crash near Nicollet, Minn.

NICOLLET, Minn. (KMSP) - A 31-year-old man from Nicollet, Minnesota, died after crashing his motorcycle early Saturday morning.
According to the State Patrol, Joel Miller was traveling on Hwy. 14 west of Nicollet around 7 a.m. when he “hit the brakes and went off the roadway in curve and hit a sign.”
Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a motorcycle in the ditch on Highway 99, and found Miller near the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead on scene. He was not wearing a helmet, and alcohol was detected.
The incident is still under investigation.
