Hennepin County voter turnout over 75 percent

The dust has settled after Election Day, and Hennepin County has released their voting numbers that show 77 percent of registered voters casting a ballot.

The 631,100 votes is down slightly from the 685,000 ballots cast in the Presidential Election year 2016, but up dramatically from the last Mid-Term cycle in 2014 when 451,800 people voted.

The 182,400 absentee ballots in 2018 was more than triple the amount cast 2014 when 56,000 people voted absentee.
