Donald Trump stops in Minnesota for fundraiser, dozens protest outside the event

Dozens protest outside Donald Trump fundraiser

Dozens of protesters gathered outside the Convention Center ahead of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s fundraiser.

Trump didn’t schedule any public events while he was in Minneapolis and supporters reportedly paid $1,000 to $100,000 to attend the fundraiser.

Protesters gathered outside the event and walked around the building. Some supporters leaving the event were pushed and yelled at by protesters. Minneapolis Police say protesters started a fire and damaged one of the doors at the Convention Center. One person leaving the fundraiser was robbed of their cell phone.  No one has been arrested in either incident.
