Temperatures move below zero as dangerous cold sets in Minnesota

Another week and another shot of arctic air is on its way. We have certainly gotten used to the super cold air coming straight out of the Arctic Circle. But that doesn't make it any less dangerous, especially since this shot of cold will rival some of the coldest numbers we've seen all season.

A weekend of winter weather

After Friday's flurries, we head into a weekend with several other chances of snow possible through Monday.

Temps dropping overnight, bringing bitter cold to Twin Cities

While Tuesday night and Wednesday will be nothing new, it will be a shock to the system as temps are likely to fall 30°+ degrees in just a few hours. Combine that with the gusty breezes, and wind chills will fall a solid 50° for many spots from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday morning.
