The cold from over the weekend will continue Monday, with temperatures expected to slowly warm up throughout the week. Clouds will linger Monday morning, but by the afternoon the sun could peak through the clouds. Monday's high temperature is 38 degrees.

Temperatures will be colder to close out the weekend, and those cooler temperatures will linger into the week. The winds will keep up Sunday, but start to die down by Monday.

The breeze will stick around the rest of this weekend. Northwest winds will help pool in colder temperatures for Sunday and Monday. A brief warm-up for Tuesday with highs returning to the 40s.

It's going to be another beautiful sunny day on Tuesday, with highs in the upper 60s for the Twin Cities metro area. Wednesday will be cloudier as temperatures remain in the 60s, but come Thursday, cooler temperatures arrive along with our next chance for showers.
