The family of star North High quarterback Deshaun Hill expressed their displeasure with a plea deal for the man charged with Hill's murder during sentencing on Monday. Cody Fohrenkam was sentenced to more than 28 years behind bars for the killing, minus time served. Fohrenkam apparently shot and killed Hill in cold blood after the two apparently brushed shoulders on the street in Minneapolis in Feb. 2022. The price of crude oil will jump on expectations that the Iran conflict will continue for at least a few weeks. Tanker traffic is mostly halted through Strait of Hormuz, which carries 20% of world’s crude oil supplies. Across the U.S., predictions are that gas prices will rise between 10 to 30 cents a gallon, but likely temporarily, and still lower than one year ago.
