Two homes destroyed in Washington County

Multiple homes were destroyed in the Ciamrron Trailer Park near Lake Elmo today. The fire started around 1p.m.

Two homes engulfed in flames, causing those inside to scramble to make it out alive.

Mary Brown's home was one destroyed, "It's gone we have nothing left" The flames took everything as the fire spread quickly. Mary, her husband and kids made it out safely, but they are missing one of their pets. A baby kitten is missing from the family tonight and is more than likely dead.

Firefighters arrived on scene and knew it was going to be a tough fight, "We were in a defensive fire fight from the get go." Fire Chief Greg Malmquist

Colleen Carter stunned as she witnessed the fire, "It looked like the end of the world it was so unbelievably dark…"

Marjorie Mcewen's home also caught on fire and destroyed her possessions and memories. "My kids photos… And my grandkids, I'm afraid I'm going to forget..."

This fire could take investigators weeks to figure out what exactly caused the blaze. Redcross is helping those out of a home.
