Since the age of 14, cycling has been the passion of St. Cloud native Noah Middlestaedt.

“It’s funny, I’m not very competitive, except on a bike,” said Middlestaedt.

Diagnosed with cerebral palsy as a child, Middlestaedt has learned to overcome his disability on a bike.

This past summer, Middlestaedt traveled to Italy and Belgium for professional races and has spent the past six months in Colorado training for the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan.

“You see these para guys and they are just as good at what the able bodied side is,” said Middlestaedt.

Middlestaedt has set his goals high and hopes to continue to push the limits of what his body can achieve.

“You are always trying to get better and improve, it’s just an endless chase,” said Middlestaedt.
