Man in critical condition after hitting semi near U of M campus
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - A man is in critical condition after he hit a semi truck around 2:13 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of University and Huron in Minneapolis. He has since undergone surgery.
The semi was headed east on University when a person crossing the street struck the side of the semi and fell under the trailer. According to police, the semi driver is cooperating.
A Minneapolis bike cop was one of the first responders who assisted the victim.
