Twin Cities hits 60 degrees for 1st time since October

The Twin Cities metro hit 60 degrees for the first time this year Wednesday.

The last time temperatures were 60 degrees or higher was on Oct. 22.

But, enjoy it whle it lasts. Thursday will not be as warm as Wednesday, with more clouds than sunshine and a high near 50. If you are heading to the Minnesota Twins home opener, be sure to pack a jacket.

A northwest wind will drop temperatures to the mid-40s on Friday and near 40s on Saturday. Saturday's highs will be in the upper 30s across the region--20 to 30 degrees colder than Wednesday's high.

High temperatures are expected to return to the 50s by the middle of next week.
