MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Chilly temperatures will stick around in Minnesota for the next two days, but warmer weather is just around the corner.
Friday’s forecast in Minnesota
What to expect: It will be a colder Friday, with below-average temperatures for much of the state. Central Minnesota will see highs in the upper teens, while western and northern areas will reach the single digits. The Twin Cities metro daytime high is 18 degrees.
The morning will feature bright and clear skies, though some clouds will roll in by the evening. Winds will be light, coming from the northwest at 5-10 mph.
Warmer temperatures ahead
What's next: Saturday will bring partly sunny skies with temperatures remaining in the teens.
On Sunday, a warming trend begins as highs climb into the 30s, though it will be a mostly cloudy day.
Next week looks mild and warm with temperatures reaching the low to mid 30s.
