A pleasant and calm fall weekend is in store, with a mixture of sunshine and clouds on Saturday and a high of 48 degrees in the Twin Cities metro.

FOX 9's Jennifer McDermed has the latest on this weekend's weather. Warmer temps are expected this weekend, with a beautiful Saturday and a breezy Sunday.

Temperatures will be more seasonable on Friday, with highs around 48 degrees and sunshine. Saturday will be quiet, and Sunday will be breezy and mild with highs in the 50s.

Just a bit brighter overall Thursday with a mix of clouds, sunshine and temps that creep their way back into the lower 40s. Flirting with seasonable upper 40s for Friday!

Temps will remain below average, with rain possible this weekend.

It started with extreme heat and it ended with snow. October was a month of weather whiplash in Minnesota.
