Severe storms caused damage near Crosby, Minnesota. Much of Minnesota, including Crow Wing County were hit with storms Wednesday, with some parts of the state being under a tornado warning.

After a stormy Wednesday evening, most of Minnesota is looking at a cloudy start to the day before a breeze is expected to clear the skies by Thursday afternoon. Meteorologist Jared Piepenburg has the full forecast.

Multiple storm systems are leading to thunder and tornado warnings across the state.

FOX 9's Keith Marler gives an update on the potential for some severe weather Wednesday.

There's a chance for potentially strong scattered thunderstorms in Minnesota on Wednesday. The metro area could see thundershowers in the morning, with a break in the afternoon, before the next round of thunderstorms appears in the late afternoon into the mid-evening. Much of Minnesota, including the metro, is under a Level 2 slight risk for severe weather, but a portion of northern Minnesota is under a Level 3 enhanced risk.

FOX 9's Cody Matz shares the forecast for Tuesday afternoon.

Spring showers greet us Tuesday morning but will clear out for a sunny and warm afternoon. As a warm front pushes through in the afternoon, isolated storms could redevelop. Portions of eastern Minnesota, including the Twin Cities, are under a Level 1 marginal risk for severe weather on Tuesday.

It's going to be a beautiful day on Monday with highs in the mid-70s and plenty of sunshine. We could see a chance of showers overnight and into Tuesday morning as the system pushes east. Temperatures heat up on Tuesday, and we could see some isolated rubles redevelop in the afternoon.

Sunday is expected to be a touch cooler with a gusty northwest wind. Jared Piepenburg has the full forecast.
