MN United FC announces move to MLS
ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - Minnesota United FC is officially moving up to the big league.
The official announcement took place Friday afternoon that the United will joining Major League Soccer in 2017.
They will play in the MLS western conference and will initially take the field at TCF Bank Stadium.
A new soccer-only stadium in St. Paul is expected to open in 2018.
