As much of the Twin Cities metro woke up to temperatures around 0 and -4 degrees, we're learning this winter is one for the record books, yet again.

On Sunday, we tied the daily record low of -13 at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport, a record set back in 1873. With temperatures hovering around 0 this afternoon, this would also mark the second coldest March day on record dating back to 1872.

The coldest March high on record was on March 10, 1948, reaching -3 degrees. On March 1, 1962, the high was 0 degrees.
