Police: Ex-Vikings QB Tarvaris Jackson pulled gun on wife

Tarvaris Jackson, 33, was arrested in Florida Friday morning for allegedly pulling a loaded gun on his wife and threatening to shoot her.
KISSIMMEE, Fla. (KMSP) - Former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Tarvaris Jackson was arrested in Florida Friday morning for allegedly pulling a loaded gun on his wife and threatening to shoot her.
According to the police report, Jackson, 33, and his wife were on vacation in Kissimmee, Fla. His wife told police Jackson was intoxicated when he pulled a gun out of his bag, loaded it and pointed it directly at her, saying he was going to kill her.
When he pulled out his gun, Jackson told police his wife responded with a dig at his football career, saying “You better be accurate because you ain’t accurate on the field.”
He was booked in the Osceola County Jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
Jackson was drafted by the Vikings in 2006, but has spent the last several years with the Seattle Seahawks as the backup quarterback for Russell Wilson.
