Minnesota school closings for Jan. 20, 2025

Multiple school districts in Minnesota are reporting delays, closings and e-learning days amid very cold temperatures and subzero wind chills on Monday.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day could be the coldest calendar day we've seen in the Twin Cities in six years. Actual air temperatures are subzero with feels-like temperatures at 25 to 45 degrees below zero. A cold weather advisory or extreme cold warning is in effect until noon across much of the state.
