Man shot in neck on N Humboldt Avenue in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minneapolis police are investigating after an 18-year-old man was shot in the neck in north Minneapolis.
Police received a shot spotter activation at 7:40 p.m. near the 1100 block of N Humboldt Avenue, according to Minneapolis police spokesman Corey Schmidt. Shortly after, dispatch received a 911 call that someone had been shot in a car.
Emergency crews took the man to Hennepin County Medical Center. He is in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries. He was able to talk to police after the shooting.
The case is still under investigation.
