Man drowns in Lake Minnetonka
SPRING PARK, Minn. (KMSP) - Hennepin County Sheriff's deputies confirm a man drowned in Lake Minnetonka Wednesday evening.
Authorities say the responded to an emergency call in Lafayette Bay shortly before 7 p.m. When emergency responders arrived, they immediately began attempting to resuscitate an adult male who had been pulled from the water by bystanders.
Those attempts were unsuccessful and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The medical examiner has yet to release an exact cause of death and the name of the victim.
