Disneyland hiring stormtroopers to work in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge
ANAHEIM, Calif. (FOX 11) - Do you have what it takes to play the role of a stormtrooper in the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge themed land set to debut at Disneyland in Anaheim.
Well, here is your chance!
The open call auditions will be held Friday morning, May 24, in Downey for performers interested in playing the role of stormtrooper in the new Star Wars land.
You must be 5 foot 10 inches to 6 foot tall with a slender to athletic build. 'Imaginative improvisations' is a must.
You need to demonstrate 'high energy levels' because the role 'requires physical exertion', according to the audition posting. You have to be able to work in the full-body armor of a stormtrooper.
You have to be available Friday nights, weekends, holidays, all summer long and during peak operating seasons.
Recruits must be at least 18 years old or a 2019 high school graduate.
The open call audition for Star Wars stormtrooper character performers will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Onstage Dance Center in Downey at 11711 Woodruff Ave.
