Community concerned after 2 teens go missing in Minnesota's west metro

UPDATE (9:15 p.m.) - Authorities are still investigating as they pull a car from a swamp in Chaska. Officials say two bodies were recovered from the car, but have not been identified.

The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations and local police departments are asking for help finding two young women who went missing this weekend in Shakopee, Minn.

According to a release, Bushra Abdi, 19 (5’10”), and Zeynab (Hafsa) Abdalla, 19 (5’9”), from Shakopee, "left their respective workplaces during a break and later called 911 for help."

Police say one worked in Shakopee, and one worked in Chaska. They were both last seen overnight Friday to Saturday.

The Shakopee Police Department and Chaska Police Department are investigating the disappearances.
