2 injured in school bus crash in Cottage Grove, Minn.

COTTAGE GROVE, Minn. (FOX 9) - Two people were injured after a day care bus crashed in Cottage Grove, Minnesota Wednesday morning

At 7:24 a.m., a day care bus and a car colided at the intersection of Hinton Avenue and 80th Street. The collision caused the school bus to land on its side, according to the Cottage Grove Police Department. 

There were seven students on the bus and one driver. One student and the bus driver were taken to Regions Hospital with minor injuries. The remaining students have since been released to their parents. 

The incident remains under investigation.
