Saturday's storm will bring a slight risk of severe weather to southern Minnesota and a marginal risk to the Twin Cities metro.

Most of the severe weather will take place in the afternoon through the evening, with heavy bursts of rain prompting flash flood warnings in some areas.

Several people reported hail in areas such as Carver, Minnesota, early Saturday morning.

Some areas should expect to see wind gusts up to 60 mph, hail about 1 inch or greater and heavy rain amounting to 2-4 inches.

The Flash Flood Watch in South-Central Minnesota is in effect until 1 a.m. Sunday.
