MN weather: Monday snow could be an AM commute buster
(FOX 9) - Winter weather advisories are in effect across central Minnesota, including most of the Twin Cities metro, as snow on Monday morning could cause some disruption for the early commute.

There is a belt of winter weather advisories stretching from the Dakotas, through central Minnesota, into central Wisconsin. The advisories are in effect from Sunday night until Monday at noon.
The snow is expected to start falling overnight into the Monday morning commute.
While it won't be a major snowfall, those on the northern end of the metro will see around two to four inches on Monday. For the south metro, the snowfall will be lighter, likely between an inch to three inches.

The week ahead is set to be much colder than the above-average temps we saw this past week.
Temperatures will fall overnight with highs in the mid-20s for Monday. Tuesday will move colder, with windchills that push into the single digits during the day time hours.
