Staying chilly with a mostly cloudy sky Wednesday ... we'll see a few brighter breaks around lunchtime, then generally clearing into the sunset this evening. Looking brighter as we aim for some lower 40s Thursday and seasonable upper 40s by Friday.

The clouds will likely stick around for most of the day, highs in the 30s.

Nature decided to dress up as Christmas for Halloween this year!? Blustery as morning flakes and clouds give way to a sunny and cold afternoon with a lot of melting, 30s feel like the 20s with the wind. Breezes relax for Trick-or-Treaters as temps fall below freezing after sunset.

Overnight snow flurries will begat some slick roads for your Tuesday morning commute.

A drop in temperatures over the weekend brought in Minnesota?s first taste of winter cold, causing people to alter Halloween plans and ready their homes.

In the cold zone as we start with frozen sunshine and head to the mid-30s this afternoon. Late-day clouds lead to a dash of light snow Monday night into Tuesday morning (about 1 inch in the Metro possible). Clearing sky for Halloween, but temps fall below freezing for Trick-or-Treaters.

This won't be the Halloween Blizzard of 1991, but around .5 inches of snow could make for slippery roads later tonight and tomorrow morning.

It will be chilly Sunday morning and throughout the day, with high temperatures only reaching the upper 30s at times. This week will be pretty clear but chilly. Expect to bundle up on Halloween, it will be a cold one.

That will keep wind chills in the 20s. Clouds linger Friday but may thin enough for some late-day patchy sun. A chilly weekend is in store.
