Some stray flurries are in the forecast for Wednesday, before it turns brighter and warmer by Friday.

Some sun may poke through Wednesday, but outside a few flurries the weather remains quiet.

As temperatures remain well above average throughout Minnesota, most of the state still has no snow to be seen ? a trend that looks to continue in the foreseeable future. FOX 9?s Rob Olson is live at Buck Hill in Burnsville, where they have continued to make their own snow to stay open.

The rain will start to slow after sunrise in the Twin Cities metro, with a high of 37 degrees for Tuesday. The clouds linger for Wednesday, with a high in the mid-30s.

It doesn't really look like Christmas with rain and highs in the 50s. Cody explains just how much snow we'd have if the temps were colder.

Christmas Day could set a record with a high of 53 degrees. That warmth and around an inch of rain will make for a different look than we usually have for the holidays.

Christmas Eve will have record warmth, with a high temperature of 55 degrees. Sunday and Monday will be rainy and unseasonably warm. The weather will continue to be mild and warm throughout the week.

Christmas Eve and Christmas day will be wet and warm. Temperatures throughout the weekend will be nearly record-breaking, with temperatures in the mid 50s and mid 40s.

Saturday will start foggy in the Twin Cities metro area, but the clouds will try to break by the afternoon. A high of 49 degrees for Saturday, and record-breaking temperatures are expected for Sunday with a high of 55 degrees.

In its second season, the Ice Palace Minnesota in Delano is in doubt due to above-average temperatures throughout December and the foreseeable future.

It's a gloomy Friday with patchy fog and drizzles throughout the day. It will be a warm weekend with temperatures in the 50s and potentially record-breaking heat on Christmas Eve.

Friday will be gray and mild, then this weekend we'll potentially see record warmth, with highs in the 50s in the forecast.
