City leaders in Minneapolis and St. Paul responded to reports of up to 100 federal agents being deployed to the Twin Cities, specifically to target the Somali community. The falling snow and gusty winds, which are causing blowing snow, has made travel conditions tough across much of the state early Wednesday. Twin Cities roadways have some snow on them, while northern Minnesota roadways are covered in snow, according to MnDOT's website. Meanwhile, in western Minnesota, roadways are listed as completely covered with ice, and motorists should expect blowing snow and reduced visibility.
