This is the 6th year for the botanical-themed event and it boasts many new additions including a s?mores village with fire pits, more butterflies and giant glowing winter willow tree. The stops are closer together than years past so the total walk is about three-quarters of a mile. Also, the towering poinsettia tree is back at the Oswald Visitor Center. The music, the costumes, the dancing and even the queen appear to have all been plucked off the screen and placed in the Twin Cities for ?The Queen?s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience.? The event runs through December 30th and takes place inside the Lighthouse Artspace.

This new season will come with changes in the form of all new home teams that have been completely re-drafted. Those teams will have new names and logos as well, but don’t fret, the halftime dance party will stay the same. Fans can purchase tickets at the door or on Ticketmaster.

One of the most extensive and finest collections of contemporary glass sculptures in the world is on display at a new museum in Shoreview. The free museum taps into the 3000 piece collection of local businessman and philanthropist, Gerard Cafesjian. The first exhibit highlights Cafesjian’s 30-year friendship with master glass artist, Dale Chihuly. It’s the first time the private collection is all in one place and on view for the public. The Cafesjian Art Trust is open for guided tours, Thursday through Saturday. Even though it is free to visit, guests must make a reservation ahead of time online or by calling the museum. It’s located on Churchill St. near the intersection of Lexington Avenue and County Road 96.

Though Igloo Dining first appeared during the pandemic to offer people a private space to eat, they?re still popular. In Wayzata, ninetwentyfive, at The Landing Hotel is offering everything from dinner to happy hour to a special brunch experience inside their cozy dining domes. The Polar Express Brunch in particular, comes with a four-course meal, a hot chocolate bar and cookie decorating station while Polar Express plays inside the heated dome. Reservations are required to secure an igloo and they can accommodate up to six people.

For the last five years Psycho Suzi?s opens the doors on October 1st with a whole new look and theme. They call it Mary?s Christmas Palace. Inside, every inch from top to bottom is covered with gaudy holiday d?cor. And this year, they?ve even added a new room that?s unofficially called Mrs. Claus? Champagne Room. Mary?s Christmas Palace will remain in place through January 28th and reservations are highly encouraged.

The names are just as unique as the varieties. The Arb also has a towering pumpkin tree in a rainbow of colors. The pumpkin tree and key will be in place through the 31st. Tickets are required and should be purchased online ahead of your visit.

Communal bathing has arrived in the Twin Cities. Newly-opened Watershed Spa offers the full ritual-based bathing experience. It starts with a shower and salt scrub, followed by a soak, then a cold plunge there?s also a sauna, spa and meditation room to close out the practice. The founder, Nell Rueckl, planned to bring this experience to Minneapolis after visiting a similar spa in Seattle. Watershed Spa also offers skin care, massage and acupuncture. It?s located in the Switch House in St. Anthony Main.

Famed Florence gallery, The Uffizi, has loaned 45 pieces to the Minneapolis Institute of Art for a new once-in-a-lifetime exhibit. ?Botticelli and Renaissance Florence: Masterworks from the Uffizi? is the largest show on Sandro Botticelli ever staged in the United States and Mia is the only stop for this collection. The exhibit will be on view in Mia?s Target Gallery through January 8th, 2023.

St. Louis Park?s Folly Coffee, a local craft coffee roaster is expanding. They?ve opened their first coffee shop in collaboration with Jinx Tea. The tea shop started out in 2018 as a food truck and then opened a shop in Linden Hills. They approached Folly Coffee about joining them in the caf? and the Folly team jumped at the opportunity. Folly Coffee + Jinx Tea is located at France and 45th.
